IDK Racing did not start with a podium or a race license. It started with almost no track experience and a simple question: how do you get from zero to competitive driving the right way?

This project exists to answer that question in public.

Over the past few years, I have focused on building fundamentals through consistent HPDE seat time. Not chasing lap records. Not chasing modifications. Just learning how to drive properly, safely, and repeatably. Vision. Braking. Car control. Traffic management. Discipline over ego.

The next phase is intentional progression. Moving from education into structured competition. Building a Time Trial platform that is competitive without being reckless with budget. Developing skill alongside the machine instead of relying on it.

But IDK Racing is not just about my own development.

When I first looked into track days and competition, the path felt unclear. There were questions about safety, cost, rules, classing, and what modifications were actually necessary. It can be intimidating from the outside.

This site exists to make that path more visible.

The mistakes will be shared. The setup changes will be documented. The small improvements will be logged. The lessons learned moving from HPDE to Time Trial and eventually beyond will be transparent.

If you are starting from zero, you are not behind. You are at the beginning. That is where this started too.
